GMO started as two people solving their own problem.
Crispin manages Good Kid. Jacob makes their merch. Between us we hit every problem a merch business can have. Product that turned up late, or wrong, or not at all. Tax rules nobody warned us about. Money that took months to find its way home.
So we learned how to fix each one, properly, because we had to live with the result. Then other artists started asking whether we would do it for them. That is the company.
Your interests are our interests.
We take a share of what we sell. A cheaper unit is a win for both of us, not a win for one of us and a loss for the other.
We are not a factory.
We do not own production, so we are not trying to keep a line busy with your order. We go out and find the right maker for each product, which means the right thing gets made in the right place at a fair price.
We tell you the truth.
If a product will not sell, or a run is too big, or we are the wrong people for the job, you hear it from us first.
Crispin
Runs the business side. Deals, touring, tax and the money. He manages Good Kid, which is where all of this started.
Jacob
Runs product. Design, samples, and the things nobody else will make. He is the creative behind Good Kid's merch.
